Goodbye New York, for now-uh

November 19th, 2007

I really want to stay in New York. Really. Stay.

I know why. Because it is a place away from daily routines, work, life and responsibilities. I know that if I would move here (the thought has struck my mind more than once lately) it would lose its magic. And then I would miss London. It’s like having two lovers. So the best way to solve this I guess is to go here once a year. That way the love and passion for New York will remain just that while London will be my faithful friend. Isn’t that how it works in real life too?

Some photos coming up tomorrow. See you in London.

I think you are absolutely right. New York could be like your magical haven while London is your safe place. Besides, if you moved to New York it would become the place with daily life and routines.

I think most Americans who read this blog would trade not only New York, but perhaps even hide their heart in a chest (hahah) to take your place and live in London. :)

I feel the same way about New York, so I like this post a lot. “Kort, maar krachtig”, as they would say in Dutch. ;)
