Me and my sneakers

Me and my sneakers are about to enter the surreal world
Me and my sneakers - just landed on Magrathea

… have just landed on …

Magrathea, an ancient planet located in orbit around the twin suns Soulianis and Rahm in the heart of a dark nebula. The planet’s inhabitants built customized planets (using matter excreted from white holes) for tremendous amounts of money, making Magrathea one of the wealthiest planets in the galaxy. It was the Magratheans who constructed the planet-sized computer named Earth (for a race of hyperintelligent pandimensional beings, the mice) to determine the ultimate question of Life, the Universe, and Everything, which is required to understand the Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything. But when the great galactic stock market crash occurred, the Magratheans went into hibernation awaiting the recovery of the economy to the point where their services could once again be afforded. They were later awakened for the reconstruction of the Earth (the Earth, Mk. II).

One of the chief Magrathean planet designers is called Slartibartfast, he designed the coastline of Norway. Slartibartfast said that he enjoyed doing the crinkly bits and fjords. Better still, he won an award for it.

Me and my sneakers will stay here a bit until we have rested and are fit enough to return to earth.

And with posts like this - I am sure you won’t miss us.

By the (hypergalactic) way, Slartibartfast serves an excellent tea.

That is one psychedelic photo (and it matches this post perfectly)! I love it! (Especially cause I myself am a big fan of taking photo’s of my own feet/shoes whenever they land on new ground. :))

It’s a good thing that they have Internet over there, otherwise you weren’t been able to reach wikipedia ;)
Take all the time you need to rest, because when you’re back, there’s a lot to do on Earth.

I will be back somewhere in or right after the weekend, after we have finished our film. We currently use all our freetime to work on it.

It’s looking great though, and we can’t wait to show it!

Sure hope you brought a towel with you.
Are you by chance standing on it?

@Joachim - towel - of course I have one with me.

And no I am not standing on a towel, I am standing on a Pod transportation arrival platform on Magrathea.

(which might have some resemblance with the platform at Westbourne Park tube station)
