Shattered!

In pieces

I really really loved that plate. It was one of the first things I bought after I moved to London. In the charity shop in Croydon. I was really very attached to it. Am sure it is impossible to get the same one as it is rather old.

Bugger.

In other news: I am going to take a short break from writing here. I hope to return latest after my holiday which will be around the 23rd of September. I might twitter a bit though now and then.

Be good.

    Maybe you can glue the plate together again?
    A remarkable coincidence is that your plate broke in the week that Bill Melendez died…

    We’re always good, you know that.

    Have a great weekend.

    @Pedro: it’s kind of a scary coincidence isn’t it!

    @Anna - thanks!

    @Mark - I know, it is heart breaking isn’t it. I so loved that plate!

    Blimey Timo!!

    You rock! I have contacted the seller to ask if she wants to ship it to the UK.

    More reason why I want it - I now see that the plate is from 1966 - which is my birth year! I will let you know what happens.

    I was going to suggest a trawl on eBay but see you are already there!
    Hope you get the plate.
    Have a great break and come back with photos!

    Living in my new house with tiled floors gave me a whole new perspective on precious : Stuff usually doesn’t bounce… There is a silver lining though: ebay and buying new pretty things.
    In my case it’s IKEA and hoping the kids grow up fast ;o)))

    You see how good it is to share happiness AND misery with your readers; there’s always a chance that someone of your big fan community might be able to help you solve a problem. Good luck with getting that plate!
    And good luck with finding a book shop for your short film. It is so exciting to watch the film making progress from the distance.
    Hope you’ll be back soon. Have a nice, relaxing holiday!
