I read Man and Boy by Tony Parsons, a chick lit written from a male perspective. It was actually quite readable, a Sex in the City kind of story through the eyes of a man (single parent with little son) with several “oh come on get a grip and get on with it” moments but also touching at times. Nice summer read.

My sentiment exactly! I just finished reading the book, I thought it was ok, but I need some convincing before I pick up another book by the same author.
I actually picked up one of his other books for a pound in the charity shop. It’s easy summer reading, nothing wrong with that now and then :)
