Trainpain II – a poem

Trainpain II

I should not
think of you again
it’s useless
my heart
does complain

No doubt though that
you will remain
the man
who took over my brain
got me addicted,
hooked, insane

Would love to see you
soon again

But there is nothing
left to gain
All those attempts
would be in vain

it’s best to let go
break this chain

put you on the
Caterham train
my tears dissolving
in the rain
I wave goodbye
fighting the pain

the tail light fades
and I remain
I’m walking back
memory lane
