I try really hard not too – I am a very considerate person.
8. Name a film that you would recommend everyone see.
Love Actually
Dan in Real Life
Juno
Wall-E
Son of Rambow
Feel goodness – guaranteed.
9. Name a film that you own.
Great Danish film which knocked me off my feet in the cinema because it has such a frustrating ending. I bought it – never watched because I can’t get myself watch that frustrating ending again. Great script – fantastic actors though. I had the poster on my wall for a while while living in Denmark, and for me Ulrich Thomsen is one of the best Danish actors around.
Also, I don’t owe as many films as you might think. Clearly I have the Bill Nighy collection, but apart from the predictable Richard Curtis rom-coms, I don’t owe that many DVDs.
11. Have you ever seen a film in a drive-in? If so, what?
Unfortunately not! But I have seen films outdoors, does that count?
14. Ever walked out of a film?
Oh yes several times.
15. Name a film that made you cry in the cinema.
The list is too long. If there is anything near a kleenex moment in a film I cry.
16. Popcorn?
Very rarely. Pink Shrimps however …
17. How often do you go to the cinema (as opposed to renting them or watching them at home)?
Averagely twice a week. I have a Cineworld month card, which means I can see as many films as I like per month for £15.
18. What’s the last film you saw in the cinema?
Nights In Rodanthe with Richard Gere and Diane Lane. A true tear jerker, but Richard Gere, however older, still can do romance.
19. What’s your favourite/preferred genre of film?
Good Rom-coms or Romances. Yep, pathetic romantic is my last name.
20. What’s the first film you remember seeing in the cinema?
Bambi. I am still not over it.
21. What film do you wish you had never seen?
I don’t remember bad films very long. If a film is bad I walk out.
22. What is the weirdest film you enjoyed?
Genuinely weird, I did not understand it at all but visually cool.
23. What is the scariest film you’ve seen?
Alien.
24. What is the funniest film you’ve seen?
A fish called Wanda

Please steal this meme if you feel like it or answer any questions you feel like answering in the comments section. I think I am particularly interested in your list of films that you have seen more than 5 times …
Films I’ve seen more than five times include Notting Hill, Pretty Woman, Love Actually, Priest…which I guess means that I’m a lot like you when it comes to films. Have also seen Brothers and Italian for beginners more than once, but probably not more than five times. And now I feel like leaving the office to watch a film instead
Oh I loved Italian for beginners! :) And have seen En Kort en Lang more than once, I own that one. And of course: Den Eneste Ene – love that film, might have seen it 5 times actually :) I want to go home now too, to dig up some of my Danish films and watch them :)
Gosh I miss Danish films – a lot!! All those great actors.
Oh En Kort en Lang, of course, I own that one too and have seen it more than once. And Den Eneste Ene, sure I have seen that many times as well.
Unfortunately I don’t have time to go to the cinema much at the moment, and so I don’t know if any good Dansih films are on at the moment.
Should perhaps take a day off and go to the cinema…
Films I’ve seen more than five times? “The Parent Trap” (original version, translated version, with my kids, without my kids…)Three to four times? Four Weddings and a Funeral, When Harry met Sally, Love Actually, Notting Hill, The Holiday, Dan in Real Life.
By the way, Ingrid, didn’t you forget to mention one special film in your own list (a film you can and do quote from, a film that you recommend constantly, a film that you own… ;-))
Mmm what film could that be :) Okay I know what you mean, but The Girl In The Cafe has not been out in the cinema, so I left it out :) Bonus Points for you for having DIRL on your list by the way!!
While I am thinking about this, think I can add You’ve Got Mail to the list of “have seen minimum 5 times” too.
1. Name (a) film(s) that you have seen more than 10 times (cinema + home).
Life of Brian – for one thing, I watched it every year in history class in secondary school as the teacher loved it!
A Muppet Christmas Carol – because Christmas is simply not Christmas without it ;-)
2. Name a film that you’ve seen multiple times in the cinema.
I’m a bit ashamed to admit it, but…
Mamma Mia – once with a friend (in a silly mood), once on the ferry between Norway and Germany (what else can you do if you have to spend 20 hours at sea) and once with my mother-in-law (who is a huge ABBA fan)
3. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to see a film.
Michael Palin – he’s just so funny!
5. Name a film that you can and do quote from.

It still makes me laugh. :-)
6. Name a film musical that you know all of the lyrics to all of the songs.

No, I prefer M&Ms. :-)

19. What’s your favourite/preferred genre of film?
Art-house.
20. What’s the first film you remember seeing in the cinema?
I think that was “De Reddertjes”, but I looked it up and it actually came out in 1977 or 1978, and I saw it probably around 1985. So it must have been a replay.
21. What film do you wish you had never seen?

I’ve never seen a film in the cinema more than twice, the last one being Sweeney Todd. However at home I have probably seen Robin Hood Prince of Thieves far more times than I care to remember plus all the golden oldies like Casablance, The Philadelphia Story etc etc.
I have to admit to the words of Mammma Mia too but the film is crap. We showed it at work in August and have had it back every month and November we have the Sing-a-long!! We have to be grateful though as it has boosted our Summer figures enormously (as did Sex and the City)
Last film I saw was The Duchess at work (for free) which was grim although beautifully shot.
Last time I cried in the cinema? Lost in Translation, I think, and the tears poured down!
An actor to make me more inclined to watch the film?? Well you know it would be Alan Rickman! (And Kevin Spacey as as an also-ran)
More than 5 times ?
A Chorus Line, The Princess Academy ( very bad, very 80’s, but soo much fun at 14), Student Exchange, The Rock, Speed, Backdraft, all The Lords of the Rings, Pirates 1 and 2 (busy year, seen Far end of the World 3 times and counting), St. Elmo’s Fire, Four weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, Sense and Sensibillity, Emma, loads of Disney movies, THE Muppets Christmas Carol (best Christmas movie ever !!), Sweet Home Alabama, Love Actually. And my all time feel good favorite : You’ve got Mail. And I must have forgotten a few too.
PS. Who’d make me run to the Cinema ? The Lovely Daniel Craig (duh) and ……Orlando Bloom ! But can you blame me ? I’m only 3 weeks older and we are both Capricorns; we are Soulmates !!!
(I’m kidding offcourse, about the soulmate part)
