The great thing about cycling around is that you sometimes find places like these along your way. Here (Yes this was in Nieuwegein of all places) you could buy cherries, strawberries, red berries and even gooseberries for just a couple of euros. You had to put the money in the moneybox, which to my surprise had not been stolen yet.
In the mean time, summer has arrived, it is around 30 C here in the Netherlands. (But I understand London has the same temperatures at the moment)

In Apeldoorn you’ll find one of the best animalparks in the Netherlands. They are specialized in monkeys. The park is in a beautiful area with lots of trees and lots of their monkeys can wander around freely in the park which means you can really get close to them.

Scenes you meet while cycling not too far from where I live: a horse and carriage.
I bought cheap Ikea flower seeds which I have sown around Easter. That surely paid off.
Remember The Elephant Parade? This is way cooler, The Gromit Parade! I would love to see this.
